Skinny Addicting Cinnamon Banana Bread

Remember how I said I really miss having all four seasons? Well I really miss the spring rainy days. Like this one. I absolutely love walking out the door and smelling that fresh, crisp, wet and wonderful springy smell.

But I could never live somewhere where it rained all the time because... I have curly hair. Naturally curly hair. And I straighten it 90% of the time. I know I know, you're saying, why?? you're sooo lucky to have naturally curly hair. But of course, you always want what you don't have. Any anyone who has naturally curly hair will tell you that you do not want this curly hair curse. There are about nine hundred and eleven reasons why this is a curse. Not the least of which is having to PLAN AHEAD for absolutely everything.  Want  to go swimming? I have to plan for that. Including packing hair product, a brush, an elastic and headband to try and bind it all up after getting it in a tangled mess, and hopefully it's on a day that I already got up before the sun to wash, dry, and straighten the gnarly mane. Should we have a bonfire? Sure! Let me just check my schedule. Family pictures coming up in a few weeks, lets just map out  my entire life from now til then so "wash the hair" day falls on the correct date. See? It goes on and on...

But like I said before, you always want what you can't have. And it is nice to at least have the option to scrunch or diffuse my hair if I really want to. Like today. When it's rainy. And I should have gone el naturale. Because already its a stringy mess. Hair fail.

I did have a success though to counter balance out the hair failure. I made a banana bread that's healthy and without chocolate chips that the hubby loved. Really, he went back for seconds all on his own. I love getting him to eat healthy with me, especially when he doesn't even know it's healthy. That's the best! Because you should never ever have to skimp out on taste to be eating healthy. And this bread was the bomb. Really. I almost at a whole loaf by myself in less than a day (not really my best decision... but it was that good!)So I'm sharing it with you. Give it a try, you just might love it. And try giving some to somebody who doesn't know it's healthy. They'll probably love it too.
